This workshop will provide you with cool new ways of creating gorgeous, one-of-a-kind mosaics. You will learn techniques for attaching beads, tiles, mirror, glass, gems, costume jewelry, charms, and basically anything else to another surface, be it a bottle, a flat shape, a tray, or whatever you might want to use.

We will begin with “instruction” time, with descriptions and demonstrations of the various tools we use in mosaics, as well as adhesives, design, organization of materials, and safety practices. After a demonstration of this process and some discussion, you will be encouraged to dive in and start creating. You are welcome to take your piece outside if you wish to add in some natural elements.

Students of all levels welcome! If you’ve done mosaics before, this will be new for you too. If you’ve never done mosaics, this will be really fun for you!

Supply List:

All materials and supplies WILL be provided for you, and there will be a kit fee per student of $35.00. Feel free to bring along any special items to add to your piece. Students can let me know their color palette preferences so I will bring the right colors of beads and glass! When you register please inform the staff what shape you would like or if you prefer a bottle.
