Imagine spending 5 days and 4 nights in community, creating a unique art journal, in the lovely month of May, 2025. Join me at Genesis Spiritual Life Center, Where peace meets holistic hospitality, to awaken your senses, ignite your imagination, and connect with like-hearted women. Allow yourself to experiment and create without expectation or judgement, and bring out that inner kindergartener who loves to play with art materials

Once you’ve created your journal, with pockets and flaps and tuck spots, you will delve into the process of SoulCollage, as developed by the late Seena Frost. Your cards tell the story of YOU, and this journal will be a safe space to keep your new cards. Journaling with your cards, and adding collage elements will enable you to see for yourself how your story will tell itself..

We’ll create and explore and discover and relax.

This retreat is for YOU. Self-care is so important, and you deserve some “Me” time!

Our time in the studio will include creating a hand-made art journal and SoulCollage. You will go back home with lots of new insight into this intuitive process and a keepsake journal which will always remind you of this transformational retreat.

The process of SoulCollage combines your innate intuition, imagination, along with images, and your SoulCollage deck will be enhanced with cards made during this retreat. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned SoulCollager, this retreat will open your eyes to new ways of looking at images, and new ways of expressing yourself with words and pictures.

And the studio is open for you 24 hours, so you can visit and create any time of day or night.

More about this venue, from their website:
”Genesis’ grounds are maintained in cooperation with nature’s wisdom and are free of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Wooded groves and mature specimen trees, many 100 to 150 years old, surround the property. Within are broad expanses of lawn peppered with commemorative plantings of ornamental trees, shrubs, and gardens which enhance the natural beauty and contemplative atmosphere of the grounds. Among the trees, comfortable benches and lounge chairs invite guests to sit in reflection. A Compassionate Curve pathway, the spiral of life, the peace pole, and the labyrinth provide other means for inspiration and meditation throughout the property. A small fruit orchard, community vegetable gardens, compost pile, chickens, black squirrels, and a variety of birds and other wildlife participate in the council of all beings at Genesis.”

Doesn’t this sound like a place you’d enjoy? You will have free time each day to wander the grounds, the labyrinth, and the pathways.

This is “Me Time” for you! Create, relax, enjoy. You deserve it!
