Stir the creative brew, and be inspired by the ancient wisdom of Tarot characters and archetypes.  No need to be literal – We’ll invent NEW characters prompted by the mystique and intrigue of Tarot traditions.  No limits either – Our ideas can be as wide-ranging as Exotic/Ethnic, Fictional, Medieval, Futuristic, Nature-centric, etc.  

Although traditional Tarot decks are replete with classic archetypes – the Empress, the

Fool, the Hierophant, etc. – our path is wide open to experiment and expound.  Rather than create actual cards or work in a card format, we’ll create mythical characters and learn endless mixed media techniques. 

You will learn all my tried-and-true ideas for limitless colors, complex/lavish

backgrounds, adding layers and complexity to your work, how to

use iconic positive/negative shapes for surprising outcomes, and finishing

touches for a “Ta da!” flourish.  And much more.  My techniques are low-tech

and approachable – but the outcomes are lavish and expressive.  Lots of fun demos,

endless brainstorming, and one-on-one instruction.
