Fun with Watercolors and Doodles!

Explore this forgiving and fun medium with me!

This workshop is not about perfection, realism, or doing it "the right way".

It's all about exploration, experimentation, trial and error, and having fun, "trusting the process", and giving yourself permission to play with watercolor paints and doodle pens.

This workshop takes place in my Prescott studio as well as on Zoom!

I will demonstrate each technique, then you will have time to try it yourself. This is a great way to learn, as you can ask questions as they arise. We will have time to learn and time to play.

I believe that, as with any of the creative workshops I teach, my two rules apply: 1) You can’t be wrong, and 2) Have fun!

Materials List to have on hand (or you can use my supplies and pay a materials fee of $20.00):

Watercolor paints

Palette or palette paper

Good round brush, #8 or #10 ideally

Watercolor paper

Doodle pens, such as Sharpie Paint Pens or Micron pens in white, black, silver, bronze, or whatever colors you like

Plastic or paper straw

White crayon or candle

Container for water

Paper towels

Alcohol

Salt

Q-tips

Bubble wrap

Saran Wrap

Tissues

Baby wipes

Whether you splash, drip, blob, or spread the paint around, you can have fun trying new things in this hands-on workshop!
